Our valued public sector client is looking for a Senior MS Dynamics Technical Architect to design and implement a unified online political entity registration service.The objective of the renewed Political Entity Registry Services (PERS) product is to transform the current manual operations into a user-centric and intuitive solution that will manage registration information in a secure and efficient way. The PERS product will increase internal Elections Canada efficiencies by implementing a unified online political entity registration services data model and eliminating error prone data synchronization processes. The product will also benefit external stakeholders by enabling an online digital registration service aiming to improve the user experience.The project will lead the way to the cloud and will implement the base Enterprise Portal functionality. The scope for this project is for this new portal to be designed and built so that it can fulfill the long-term enterprise portal vision and provide access initially to the new PERS and to the existing Political Entity Services Centre (PESC).Responsibilities:
  • Perform requirements elicitations, collecting, and defining technical requirements for the project leveraged Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Document the technical needs of the users, and internal stakeholders in order to design and develop the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Solutions with custom business logic (plugins) to deliver to end users enhanced feature functionality and improved service capabilities
  • Develop a Business Case to substantiate technical recommendations/decisions, performing feasibility studies to providing evaluation/studies of the best solution to determine technical feasibility, functional adequacy, and estimated costs for the implementation and operation of the projects
  • Ensure that all organization stakeholders, both internal and external, were committed and moving forward on the projects and were meeting organizational goals for IT modernization and delivery of more efficient and streamlined processes
  • Configuration and set up of testing and production environments and managed project sign-offs for each project release (each release comprised of a set of features/capabilities/functions and involved implementation and installation for client to test
  • Defined and documented interfaces of manual to automated operations within the application sub-systems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems, to ensure all processes were covered for developing the new solution
Mandatory Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience as a Technical Architect
  • 3+ projects working with the Federal Government
  • 2+ projects working as a Technical Architect on Dynamics CRM projects
  • 3+ projects implementing CRM solutions into production
  • 2+ projects designing and developing plugins
  • 2+ projects working with ADX Portal
Nice to Have:
  • Microsoft Certified Dynamics Specialist
  • Previous experience working on IT projects related to elections either at the federal, provincial, territorial or municipal level
