Reporting to the Category Director, this role supports product, financial, and administrative processes related to category management. You’ll help maintain accurate data, support merchandising initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.What You’ll DoMaintain and monitor key sales and financial data; prepare weekly reports and insightsComplete and manage required documentation (e.g., product and vendor information)Ensure data accuracy across systems (e.g., SAP, CPMS) in collaboration with sourcing teamsPrepare materials for flyers, merchandising plans, and seasonal programs, including pricing and product detailsReview and proof marketing materials to ensure accuracySupport internal teams by resolving store issues efficientlyCommunicate updates and category information to storesCollaborate with teams such as Space Planning, Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain, and Merchandising to address issues and improve processesWhat You BringStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAttention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solvingClear and professional communication skills across different formats and audiencesComfort working with data, spreadsheets, and databasesAbility to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholdersSound judgment and discretion when working with sensitive or business-critical informationFamiliarity with category management or merchandising principles is an assetExperience & EducationAt least 1 year of experience in a business, retail, or merchandising environmentPost-secondary education in business, merchandising, or a related field—or equivalent experienceWhy work at Shoppers Drug Mart?Acting as consultants, supporting internal customers and the Associate-Owners, you will get experience unique to the retail industry while working for an award-winning national brand.
