ShareLocated in Edmonton, ABSalary: $23/hourAn Edmonton client is searching for a Machine Tool Operator to join their team.Machine Tool Operator Highlights:· As a Machine Tool Operator, you will be responsible for running multiple machines, performing tasks such as using a tape measure, painting gaskets, fabrication of gaskets, and welding. Your attention to detail and precision will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the manufactured products.· Operate and monitor multiple machines to perform various tasks efficiently and effectively.· Utilize a tape measure accurately to measure and cut materials according to specifications.· Paint gaskets with attention to detail, ensuring proper color application and consistency.· Fabricate gaskets using appropriate tools and techniques, adhering to quality standards.· Perform MIG welding when required, maintaining a high level of proficiency and safety.· Maintain a consistent pace and quality of work while being on your feet for 8-10 hour shifts.· Assist with CNC and/or plasma operations as needed, utilizing technical skills to operate machinery.· Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.· Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment.· Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.· Keep work area clean and organized to ensure efficiency and safety.· Qualifications:· Experience working as a machine tool operator or in a similar manufacturing role.· Proficiency in accurately reading and using a tape measure.· Ability to distinguish between colors for painting tasks.· Experience with MIG welding is an asset.· Physical stamina to stand for 8-10 hour shifts and perform manual labor.· Familiarity with CNC and/or plasma operations is advantageous.· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.· Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.· Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.· Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.Machine Tool Operator Hours & Wage· 8:00 am – 5:00 pm – Monday to Friday· $23/hourAbout Us:Express Employment Professionals works with job seekers to help them find the right job for their skills and experience.
