As the Pursuit and Strategy Lead, you will drive winning strategies for complex pursuits, strengthen long-term client relationships, and help position WSP at the forefront of nationally significant programs and initiatives.Your Impact
- Lead the development and execution of pursuit strategies for major Federal Government and Defence opportunities.
- Shape win themes, value propositions, and client messaging aligned with strategic growth objectives.
- Partner with technical, commercial, and executive leaders to deliver compelling, compliant submissions.
- Guide capture planning activities, including stakeholder mapping, competitive analysis, and risk mitigation.
- Influence go-to-market strategies that strengthen WSP's presence in the federal and defence sectors.
- Mentor pursuit teams and elevate best practices across capture and proposal development.
- Support long-term account planning to drive sustained growth and trusted client relationships.
- Proven experience leading complex pursuits or capture strategies within Federal Government and/or Defence environments.
- Strong understanding of public-sector procurement, RFP processes, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical solutions into clear, persuasive value propositions.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience coordinating large, matrixed teams under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Background in engineering, advisory, or professional services environments is an asset.
