
Project Manager, Technology

- Coordinate with cross-functional project teams across the organization to plan, coordinate and manage technology projects ranging from software development, integration, implementation, and process improvement
- Manage multiple, various sized projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and other subject matter experts, including technical and business teams, to apply project structure and to drive multiple initiatives forward
- Create and maintain project documentation, status reports, plans, schedules and timelines, facilitate meetings and workshops and communicate project milestone progress on a regular basis
- Create and maintain formal and informal plans, schedules and timelines including project charter, user manuals and other documentation at the appropriate level of detail required for individual projects
- Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for project team members specific to the initiative
- Ability to identify and resolve project roadblocks
- Manage change in a complex and dynamic environment
- Balance technology and business issues and communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in order to improve work processes
- Coordinate resources by managing project performance and ensuring timely execution of deliverables
- Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses, and industry
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management in a technology focused role
- Proven track record of successful program/project execution
- Proven ability to tailor the project deliverables to the needs of each project and business stakeholder group, adapting style, documentation, and communication, rather than applying a one size fits all approach. Flexibility and adaptability are key factors of success for Project Managers at MNP
- Ability to take and ambiguous ask and work with team members to develop it into a project scope that can be driven to completion
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams and influence across organizational boundaries
- Demonstrated knowledge of various project management methodologies - Agile and Waterfall
- Experience with software implementation projects with a high degree of system integration would be considered an asset
- Experience with technology and software development projects in a professional services organization would be considered an asset
