Global Financial Firm located in MISSISSAUGA, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst"This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.
You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.
We will be expected in the office weekly 3 days depending on the team requirement.****Video/ f2f interviews are required prior to all offers.Job Title: PM/BAJob DescriptionProject Manager required to work on SEC Mandatory US Treasury Cash and Repo Clearing Program.
Multi year program within the front office COO transformation teamKey responsibilities include:
- managing a product workstream to ensure requirements of the business are defined and implemented within regulatory deadlines
- managing, tracking and reporting status of plan execution items across deliverables
- project plan and RAID management
- partnering with internal stakeholders (Front Office, Operations and Technology, Risk, Finance, Legal, etc.) to ensure end to end change impacts are understood and worked on
- Working with Sales/ Senior Management to define client migration strategy across different business lines
- Driving client migrations of Repo and cash transactions for US Treasury Bonds
- facing off to multiple front office Traders, Sales and Business Managers
-Interacting with Clearing Houses to define Clearing Models
- Working with large data sets to extrapolate andKey Skills Required -
Minimum 8 years experience. Must be an energetic self starter/able to drive initiatives with stakeholders
- Seasoned project management experience in major/complex institutions ( Tier 1 banks or Top 4 consulting firms), working within Regulatory projects
- Experience working with Front Office stakeholders / Trading and Sales / Risk Management / Legal / compliance / control infrastructure
- Strong working knowledge of Markets products and environments
- Strong understanding of applicable regulations, compliance requirements and its implementation
- Ability to navigate large / complex / diverse teams and complex stakeholders
- Knowledge of equities, securities, tri party and Repo activi and bonds
- Understanding of a role of Clearing House and clearing models offered by Clearing Houses
- CCP Clearing front to back trade process knowledge desirable
- Booking model change and transformation experience
- Ability to use MS Excel for large data sets to identify, report and drive changeKey Skills Preferred
-Previous experience in working on Legal entity change programs i.e Brexit, Clearing
- Booking model changes and operating model transformation experience
- Cleared OTC/Listed Derivatives knowledge desirable but not required
