- Project Leadership: Take full ownership of delivering high-impact IT and business projects, driving results that align with organizational priorities and timelines.
- Scope & Risk Management: Use project management tools and principles to define project scope, mitigate risks, and implement contingency plans that keep deliverables on track.
- Process Improvement: Apply best practices from the Project Management Institute (PMI) to strengthen project planning, life cycles, milestones, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaboration & Execution: Lead diverse teams across departments using agile and waterfall methodologies to execute projects efficiently and cohesively.
- Resource Optimization: Prioritize tasks and delegate effectively using recognized PMI techniques to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Progress Reporting: Keep leadership and stakeholders informed through standardized project reporting, risk escalation, and transparent communication.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build trust with leaders, clients, contractors, and suppliers through tailored communication, conflict resolution, and regular alignment check-ins.
- Culture Building: Mentor and support a project-first mindset across teams by modeling consistent governance, communication frameworks, and project delivery standards.
- Change & Quality Management: Oversee change controls, validate deliverables against project goals, and drive post-project evaluations to ensure value and success.
- Postsecondary degree in a related field
- PMP certification (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise-level projects
- Proven success delivering large, cross-functional initiatives across multiple business units
- Strong knowledge of project and change management methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
- Skilled in conflict resolution and building team consensus
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and providing structure
