Job Description:Picking customer and branch parts ordersPacking and labeling parts orders for shipmentSorting and binning incoming stockLoading and unloading of the parts trucks**Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement**Qualifications:Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to successfully work under minimal supervisionTDG and WHMIS certification, coupled with forklift training will be considered assetsPrevious warehousing and core inspection experience, as well as computer literacy are also desiredPrevious parts warehousing and/or heavy equipment experience would be considered an asset.Hold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHIMS and TDG.A strong commitment to safety is imperative**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement**Important Details:This is a part time position on based in WhitehorseUnion Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay.
