Primary Location: Canada (CA) - Manitoba - AltonaA&I Products (a division of John Deere) is a leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of aftermarket replacement parts for the agricultural, turf, and industrial equipment markets.We are seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of MACHINE OPERATOR at A&I Products Inc. in Altona, Manitoba. We are looking for motivated candiates to be members of our high quality, fast-paced team!Position SummaryAs a Machine Operator with A&I Products Inc. in Altona, Manitoba, you will:
- Perform metal fabrication, operating presses and utilizing applicable tools and equipment.
- Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.
- Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment.
- Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance.
- Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections.
- Use various types of tools and equipment to perform work - including but not limited to hand and power tools, testing and runoff equipment, ladders, hoists, fixtures, jigs, and gages.
- Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling.
- Assist and support other team members.
- Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
- At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience
- Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift, including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
- Manufacturing experience is an asset

- Day shift: Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm. Hours of work may vary occasionally. The successful candidate must be available and willing to work variable hours on occasion as required.
