Must be familiar with emergency equipment and supplies within the department and respond/document/report emergencies.
Maintain clean work area and adhere to infection control standards.
Organize work schedule on a daily basis, assist in maintaining inventory and order supplies as needed.
Communicate with reception staff to minimize waiting to ensure patient satisfaction.
Collaborate, cooperates and communicate with other healthcare providers to ensure quality and continuity of care.
Report equipment malfunctions to Director. Initiate/document service calls for equipment. Supervise and document quality control and assurance.
Transport patients as needed. Provide on-call coverage and/or work various shifts as assigned to meet department needs.QUALIFICATIONS:Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited program in Sonography registered or registry eligible in the fields of Abdomen, Physics or Cardiac sonography.
Maintains CEU credits
