IS2 is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator (Afternoon Shift) to join our clients manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC milling machines, interpret technical drawings, and ensure precision in machined parts. This role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with CNC programming, and experience with various machining tools.Pay Rate: $20–$25 per hour to start (Higher wage may be considered based on experience, skill set, and attitude)Schedule: Monday to ThursdayHours: 2:00 PM – 1:30 AM (11 hours paid, 30 minutes unpaid break)Employment Type: Temporary to HireResponsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic programming adjustments
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Troubleshoot minor machine and production issues
Requirements
  • 2–3 years of CNC milling experience
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
