Hyatt Regency Toronto is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Director of Sales to support the leadership and strategic direction of the hotel’s sales function. This role plays a key part in driving revenue growth across rooms, food & beverage, and events while developing and leading a high‑performing sales team in line with Hyatt’s purpose of caring for people so they can be their best.Position SummaryReporting to the Director of Sales and Events, the Associate Director of Sales assists in leading all selling activities within the hotel and works closely with Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other revenue‑generating departments to maximize overall hotel performance.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and ongoing development to Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and Coordinators
  • Translate strategic and business goals into actionable objectives for the sales team
  • Set, monitor, and manage achievable yet challenging individual and team sales targets
  • Support talent development initiatives, including succession planning and internal bench strength
  • Foster a positive, empowered, and performance‑driven team culture
  • Promote the hotel’s offerings for corporate meetings, group business, banquets, and F&B events
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales blitzes, and industry functions as required
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure a seamless guest and client experience
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous sales experience within the hotel, hospitality, airline, luxury retail, or travel‑related industry is preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate sales teams while achieving revenue goals
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to problem‑solve and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Results‑driven, innovative, and adaptable with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Compensation
  • Salary range: $85,000 – $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
