Regional Sales Manager - Industrial

- Seek out and cultivate new business prospects within key industrial segments such as power generation, manufacturing, data centers, mining, energy, and process industries
- Develop, track, and advance a healthy pipeline of opportunities from early identification through contract execution and transition to operations
- Direct all commercial activities associated with major pursuits, including initial client engagement, solution positioning, proposal preparation, pricing discussions, and final agreement
- Establish and strengthen relationships with owners, EPC firms, general contractors, and other strategic partners across assigned territories
- Work in close coordination with internal teams-including engineering, estimating, fabrication, and operations-to confirm project feasibility and alignment with organizational priorities
- Coordinate the preparation of technical and commercial submissions, ensuring proposals reflect company strengths, acceptable risk levels, and profitability targets
- Maintain up-to-date records within CRM systems, including opportunity status, forecasting, and client interactions
- Stay informed on market conditions, competitor activity, and emerging industry trends to refine regional sales strategies
- Serve as a representative of the organization at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry forums to promote capabilities and build brand recognition
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; comparable industry experience will also be considered
- 10+ years of progressive sales or business development experience within industrial construction, EPC environments, engineered systems, or similar technical sectors
- Demonstrated track record of identifying, developing, and securing large-scale, multi-party industrial projects
- Strong familiarity with industrial project delivery, commercial agreements, and complex stakeholder environments
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present to both executive decision-makers and technical audiences
- Experience managing opportunities and forecasts through CRM platforms
- Valid passport and willingness to travel extensively throughout North America
- Direct-hire, full-time role with a stable and growth-oriented industrial organization
- Flexible location in Plymouth, MN; Phoenix, AZ; or Edmonton, AB
- Standard Monday through Friday schedule, with flexibility required based on travel and client commitments
- 20% to 40% travel required across the United States and Canada
- Base compensation ranges from $100k to $130k annually + competitive annual bonus structure included
