Position Description:The Aladdin Interface Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining robust integration layers between Aladdin and internal/external systems. This includes developing APIs, managing data pipelines, and ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient data exchange across platforms. The role requires strong collaboration with front, middle, and back-office teams and a deep understanding of asset management workflows.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement APIs and data interfaces to integrate Aladdin with enterprise systems
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Informatica and Azure Data Factory
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all integration points
  • Participate in agile delivery pods and contribute to sprint planning and reviews
Tech Stack: Azure (AKS, ADLS Gen2, Key Vault), CI/CD, GitHub Copilot; MS SQL Server; Informatica, ADF, REST APIs; Python, Java/.NET, SQLWorkplace: Remote role based in Ontario with some travel to client site in Toronto on as needed basisMust Have Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services or asset management technology
  • Proficient in Python and Java/.NET for developing scalable backend systems and data-driven applications; skilled in writing efficient, maintainable SQL for data manipulation and reporting
  • Experienced in building and optimizing ETL workflows using Informatica and Azure Data Factory; adept at designing and consuming RESTful APIs for data integration across platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), ADLS Gen2, and Azure Key Vault
  • Proficient in CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation using GitHub Actions and GitHub Copilot
  • Skilled in working with MS SQL Server for relational data storage, performance tuning, and query optimization
  • Familiar with enterprise-level job scheduling tools such as CA Workload Automation (CAWLA) or equivalent solutions
  • Knowledgeable in secure coding practices and application security principles
  • Experienced in writing unit and integration tests, and using modern debugging techniques to ensure high code quality and system reliability
  • Previous experience working on large-scale project with global teams

  • Hands-on experience with Aladdin platform integrations
