We are looking for a Project Change Coordinator to join our team!What You Will Do
- Manage the integrated change management process for assigned projects from early planning stages through to completion.
- Facilitate and advise on changes to project scope, cost, and schedule, ensuring all changes are properly reviewed, documented, and approved before implementation.
- Collaborate with project teams and PMO experts (Estimators, Schedulers, Cost Control) to assess and integrate change impacts.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of change related activities.
- Organize kickoff meetings to review project baselines and establish change management procedures.
- Facilitate regular change management meetings to review proposals, discuss impacts, and drive decisions.
- Review and translate change requests into actionable steps within the change management framework.
- Support project managers in evaluating change proposals and ensuring all alternatives are considered.
- Conduct cost and schedule impact analyses in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Track and document changes, maintain the Project Change Log, and coordinate the approval and implementation process.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails for all change activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of change impacts to all stakeholders.
- Analyze project reports to identify trends, risks, and potential changes to project baselines.
- Produce detailed and summary reports for operational and management review.
- Escalate concerns related to cost or schedule deviations and provide impact assessments.
- Make recommendations on change consolidation, correlation, and application across projects.
- Support Chiefs in coordinating Project Management of Change (PMOC) activities and ensure impacts are captured and communicated.
- Maintain a strong understanding of project scopes, execution strategies, and contractor systems to optimize workflow.
- Adhere to PMO standards, procedures, and guidelines related to change management.
- Stay current with industry best practices and technologies relevant to project controls and change management.

- Train and instruct individuals and / or groups
- Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline (e.g., engineering, project management, construction), or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Progressive experience in a professional capacity within an engineering, construction management, or project controls environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing or supporting project change management processes across all project phases.
- Familiarity with project controls functions such as estimating, scheduling, and cost control.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering designs, construction drawings, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of contract administration practices and project delivery systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in office technology and relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, project management tools).
- Certifications such as Professional Engineer (P.Eng), Project Management Professional (PMP), or AACE designation are considered assets.
- Understanding of the Ontario Human Rights Code, AODA, and related accessibility and accommodation requirements, or the ability to acquire this knowledge quickly.
