- Oversee ordering, inventory, and cost control, ensuring effective food cost management and minimal waste.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of all products.
- Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards, ensuring a clean and compliant kitchen environment.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation across all dishes.
- Conduct regular quality checks and continuously seek opportunities to elevate the guest experience.
- Partner closely with front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless service and a cohesive guest experience.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale, or luxury environment.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
- Solid understanding of kitchen financials, including food cost, labour, and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep knowledge of culinary techniques, trends, and best practices.
- FoodSafe certification (or equivalent).
- Exposure to wellness-driven or nutrition-focused culinary concepts.
- Strong mentorship track record with developing emerging culinary talent.
- Experience contributing to menu innovation or concept development.
