You will assist our clients in resolving technical issues, supporting the build, maintenance, and improvement of cloud platforms. You'll help translate architectural designs and requirements into working solutions and assist with the implementation of those designs. You may also help prepare proof of concepts for new solutions under the guidance of a senior team member.
Role Responsibilities
- Execute the deployment of highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable applications based on existing architectural designs and best practices.
- Uphold and apply cloud governance policies and frameworks, ensuring solutions meet compliance requirements.
- Deploy and manage security, network, and systems management applications, using infrastructure as code to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to maintain peak performance and availability, and analyze system performance against key metrics.
- Contribute to the implementation of robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans, and execute strategies for data backup and failover.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to guide the adoption of cloud services and build lasting relationships.
- Contribute to the business development lifecycle by helping to prepare and design new cloud solutions.
- Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies, services, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation.
Cloud Analyst:
- Years of Experience: Entry-level, with up to 2 years of experience in IT or a related field.
- Key Focus: Foundational technical skills and a desire to learn and grow in the cloud domain. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to contribute effectively as part of a team.
- Years of Experience: 2-3 years of experience in IT or a related field, with some hands-on experience in cloud platforms.
- Key Focus: Applying foundational technical skills and a desire to grow into a more independent role. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Foundational understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Experience with one or more major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization and automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies, including tools like GitHub.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Preferred experience in a professional services or enterprise IT environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability to obtain appropriate security clearances.
