Expected Salary Range: Up to $70,000 per yearResponsibilities:Program Development & Execution
- Manage the planning and execution of the annual programming calendar, including webinars, workshops, and professional learning events.
- Collaborate with Committee Chairs and subject matter experts to curate relevant, engaging, and impactful learning content.
- Ensure all events align with organizational goals and educational standards.
- Oversee end-to-end logistics for events including venue booking, A/V, catering, registration, and speaker coordination.
- Collaborate with professional finance organizations
- Ability to grow programs and education offerings.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteer committee members involved in program planning and delivery.
- Facilitate regular check-ins and planning sessions to ensure alignment across teams.
- Build strong relationships and serve as a liaison between committees, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the creation and distribution of a weekly events newsletter to promote upcoming programming and engage members.
- Create event materials, agendas, and evaluation surveys.
- Manage consistent promotion through event emails, website calendar management, and LinkedIn.
- Basic knowledge of a variety of programs and platforms, such as Canva and PowerPoint.
- Coordinate the delivery of sponsor benefits, including visibility at events and recognition in promotional materials.
- Maintain ongoing communication with sponsors to ensure satisfaction.
- Serve as primary point of contact for venue and vendor relationships.
- Ensure the timely and accurate submission of professional learning (PL) to governing body.
- Collect, analyze, and report on event feedback and learning outcomes to inform continuous improvement.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide reports to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree considered an asset.
- Five+ years of experience in event management or adult/professional education.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Demonstrated experience managing volunteers or committees.
- Proficiency with CRM and event management platforms such as Cvent, Constant Contact, Zoom, and/or Salesforce.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Flexibility to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event management or adult/professional education.
- Bachelor's degree considered an asset.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey plans and logistics for events, as well as to create and update content for various materials, such as newsletters, event-related content, and emails for distribution.
- Demonstrated experience managing volunteers or committees.
- Proficiency with CRM and event management platforms such as Cvent, Constant Contact, Zoom, and/or Salesforce.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Flexibility to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
