The Opportunity:An exciting opportunity in Building Materials awaits. In this highly operational role you would spearhead a Residential Team focused on a designated business region. This pivotal role entails supervising both Production and Back Office functions while offering guidance to the Sales Team. Effective communication with diverse corporate departments, including HR, Operations, H&S, and Accounting, is a key aspect of this position. Collaborating closely with the Head Office is crucial to set annual budgetary goals and targets for the business area. The successful candidate will also collaborate with local branches, receiving support from Corporate as necessary, to meet and exceed these established budgets and targetsWhat You'll Be Doing:
  • Develop a common vision for the Region aligned with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Manage staffing, performance, goal alignment, and career planning to ensure motivated resources.
  • Collaborate with support departments for maximum profitability and efficiency.
  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including sales and production teams.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Deliver exemplary customer experience and maintain professionalism.
  • Manage data entry, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee quality control procedures and communication with other branches.
  • Manage branch inventory and conduct monthly counts.
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
  • High business acumen focusing on process/systems, speed, cost, and quality.
  • Bilingual French and English is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
  • Strategy and execution skills, operating at strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
  • Influencing and negotiating skills, ability to motivate high-performance teams.
  • Interpersonal skills, including quick rapport establishment.
