I am an entrepreneur working from home and a mother to four lovely children. I am seeking a part-time live-out nanny (essentially a mother's helper) to assist me with the care of my two and a half years old toddler who stays at home with me. This arrangement will commence end of April. The services of the nanny will be required on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, mainly in the morning and middle of the day. Since I work from home, the nanny's main role will be to keep my little one entertained, play with him, feed him and occasionally help him nap when he is willing. It is also expected that the hired candidate is able to use their own vehicle, as a driver's license is required for this role. The workload per week is less than 20 hours and the only child who needs daycare is my toddler. Apart from child care, the responsibilities would also include light housekeeping duties such as keeping the kitchen tidy, doing family laundry, and preparing meals for kids. Any special dietary rules that the family adheres to (like vegetarian, lactose intolerant etc.) are to be followed while cooking. This is an excellent role for someone who loves children and enjoys nurturing their growth while also contributing to the smooth running of a household. Some experience in taking care of toddlers might be advantageous but more than experience, I am looking for a person who is reliable, caring, and playful.
