- Produce Methods documentation such as manufacturing assembly instructions, installations and condition of supply for flight test aircraft installations, instrumentation and experimental aircraft test rigs.
- Validate and align engineering requirements to ensure efficient and robust manufacturing methods.
- Establish build schedules of ground test rigs or flight test aircraft and harmonization strategies for parts manufacturing and assembly.
- Support daily production and experimental installation activities; participate in finding solutions for technical problems and non-conformity issues.
- Work in close collaboration with the Engineering, Production, Logistics and Quality functions, and other partners, to achieve common goals.
- Develop, maintain, and audit configuration management for ground test rigs and experimental flight test installations, including plan development, documentation preparation, and updates to practices, tools, and databases (BM, data systems).
- Provide leadership in configuration management, acting as an authority, influencing stakeholders, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support and strengthen the Experimental organization.
- Play a key role within Bombardier Experimental by contributing to the success of unique and high-impact projects.
- You hold a technical college or university degree and/or equivalent experience, with fifteen (15) years or more of Methods experience in the aerospace industry.
- You have strong knowledge and experience for the writing of fabrication and instruction documents.
- You are comfortable reading technical drawings and possess strong 3D visualization and analytical skills.
- You are familiar with computer-aided design (CAD) software such as CATIA and Siemens NX.
- You are proficient with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- You demonstrate dynamism, good listening and a strong interest in teamwork.
- You are organized, a good planner and problem solver.
- You can manage priorities in a context of parallel, multiple and complex deliveries.
- You have strong communication skills and fluent in French and English, spoken and written.
- You are eligible for registration in the Canadian Controlled Goods Directive (CGD) Program.
- You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as SAP, MACPAC, OSDB and NCMS (will be considered an asset).
