The Supervisor ensures the staff on shift follow departmental policies and procedures at the direction of the Team Leader. As well, the Supervisor, Protection Services maintains and enforces security of persons and property in accordance with established policies and procedures.Travel may be a requirement of this position. If applicable, transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of the Vancouver Island Health Authority in accordance with the service assignment and the incumbent must be able to operate a motor vehicle.QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceGrade 12, successful completion of recognized Basic and Advanced Security Training certification, Intermediate First Aid (formerly OFA Level 2) plus three years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Holds a valid B.C. Security Guard License with applicable handcuff endorsement. Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
