Apply today for this extraordinary opportunity with Enbridge! #joinourteamWhat You Will Do:Manage technical inputs for a portfolio of early and mid-stage renewable development projects across North America to support investment decisions by Enbridge senior management.Work with other internal energy yield analysts to complete and provide technical review of energy yield analysis for wind and solar energy projects, including data cleaning, campaign planning, equipment specification, and detailed solar and wind farm layout and yield analysis.Conduct mapping and constraint analysis to support project siting and optimization.Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including the development and documentation of standardized procedures for wind farm layout and energy yield assessments.Coordinate a cross functional team of Enbridge subject matter experts and 3rd party contractors to develop renewable projects to financial investment decision, ensuring key aspects of a project are complete ahead of business case presentation to Senior Management.Coordinate project screening and financial assessments to allow the Power BD team to select the best overall projects/options to advance.Support internal / external engineering leads in the development of specifications to be used by SCM, Major Projects and Engineering to engage with external engineering and construction providers.Build and maintain a strong presence in the renewable industry.Work closely across Power BD to advance both greenfield and M&A opportunities that meet Enbridge’s investment criteria.Work closely with Power Operations to ensure developed facilities are aligned to operating and engineering requirements.Plays a critical support role in developing and executing the Power BD growth strategy by leading the advancement of projects through Enbridge’s Project Development, Investment Review and Sanctioning Processes.Represents Enbridge externally with customers, vendors, stakeholders and regulatory bodies as renewable projects are advanced through the stages of development towards Final Investment Decisions .Who You Are:Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications required.
