ShareTop JobLocated in Vaughan, ONAccounting/Admin ClerkOur Vaughan based client is looking to add a qualified accounting/admin clerk to support daily office/accounting operations. This entry-level position involves collaborating with the office team to ensure the timely and accurate recording of transactions, processes weekly payroll, assist in accounts receivable and accounts payable, and supporting various accounting and administration activities. The ideal candidate has a natural passion for math and an eagerness to learn more about full cycle bookkeeping. Responsibilities:Process weekly payroll
  • Perform routine clerical accounting duties – A/P, A/R
  • Manage the day-to-day purchase orders, vendor invoices and PO
  • A/R follow-up/collections
  • Assist with weekly EFT runs
  • Prepare safety documentation and COI for customers
  • Maintain and update of certification for field employees
  • Answers phones
Qualifications:
  • Natural proficiency with math
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Excellent organizational skills and mindfulness
  • Proficiency with office productivity applications and aptitude for learning new systems
  • One or two years of experience in clerical accounting
  • Experience with Jonas – (will train the right candidate)
