We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The ideal candidate will bring strong design engineering expertise and direct experience within the nuclear industry.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute mechanical design engineering activities for nuclear projects
- Develop, prepare, and review detailed design specifications and technical documentation
- Perform design calculations, analysis, and validation of mechanical systems and components
- Provide technical leadership and act as a Subject Matter Expert within the team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and compliance
- Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support design reviews, audits, and client interactions
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 10+ years of relevant design engineering experience
- Proven experience in the nuclear industry
- Strong expertise in preparing and writing design specifications
- Hands-on experience with mechanical system design and analysis
- Familiarity with applicable nuclear codes and standards
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills
