We will delve into critical organizational behavior (OB) topics such as job performance, organizational commitment, workplace well-being, motivation, and team dynamics. The course also examines important and human resource (HR) topics such as talent management processes for acquiring, developing, and engaging employees, with a strong emphasis on equity, diversity, and inclusion.- Assist in facilitating class discussions and breakout sessions.- Support the management of class participation and engagement.- Provide grading and feedback on some of the written assignments, team projects, and case presentations.- Help prepare course materials and organize sessions.- Monitor and manage student progress and address any issues related to coursework.- Assist with administrative tasks related to course delivery.The Teaching Assistant (TA) will assist the professor in delivering MBA 5330 to a class of 60 students. The TA will support the course by co-facilitating classroom discussions, managing participation, and assisting in breakout sessions. The TA will also help grade some of the class assignments and provide feedback to students.- The position will require approximately 5-7 hours per week over the fall semester, depending on the specific needs of the class, particularly during peak periods of grading and assessment.Minimum qualifications- Enrolled in a PhD program at the university, ideally within the fields of Organizational Behavior, Leadership, Human Resources, or a related discipline.- Previous work and/or supervisory experience in an organisational setting.- Strong understanding of leadership theories, interpersonal skills, and team dynamics.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.- Experience with or interest in teaching and mentoring graduate-level students.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.- Prior experience in a teaching or tutoring role is preferred.Application Process:Interested candidates should submit a resume and a cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience related to the position.
