
Provincial Sales Manager - Quebec

- Create an annual strategic sales plan and budget for the region to meet sales, cost and profit projections and align resources and territories accordingly.
- Manage existing strategic account business and grow year over year customer revenue.
- Evaluate and initiate opportunities for developing new sources of business.
- Monitor and analyze sales data and implement strategic action plans to achieve goals and exceed revenue objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Central Region markets and customer base to identify and propose unique solutions.
- Create strong relationships based on trust, integrity and customer satisfaction to drive sales growth.
- Support customer requirements and assist in orchestrating resources that align with needs.
- Assist Marketing and Sales Leadership with the development, implementation and communication of marketing, promotional and pricing strategies for the regions.
- Create, monitor and update forecast demand by product category.
- Provide leadership, coaching and oversight to the field sales team to ensure optimal service levels, sales growth and return on time invested.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and execute monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Provide feedback on goals and objectives in preparation for annual sales plans and budgets and prepare documents as required.
- Participate in weekly and monthly conference calls as required.
- University Degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years related Sales Management experience.
- Bilingual French and English, written and spoken.
- Demonstrated record of driving sales revenues in related industry.
- The ability to effectively communicate with customers and the Central Region sales team.
- Strong computer skills including Excel, Powerpoint and CRM. Experience with Quick Quote and M20 an asset.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule and travel regularly in the assigned territory in compliance with corporate travel policy and budget is essential.
- Ability to negotiate, convince, sell and influence group business decision makers and influencers.
- Ability to set individual and team goals, clearing obstacles to hit targets.
- Ability to identify and develop top prospects for growth within existing customer base and new prospects.
- Ability to be self-motivated and achieve goals with minimal direct supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor the sales team.
