- Work independently and collaboratively to perform studies and calculations throughout the full engineering lifecycle, and collaboratively within multidisciplinary and diverse project teams
- Learn about a wide range of thermal technologies including geothermal, biomass, waste-to-energy, carbon capture and storage (CCS), gas turbine, reciprocating engine, boilers and emission reduction technologies
- Support technology selection and optimization studies to maximize plant performance and efficiency while meeting the client's environmental objectives and business needs
- Assist in developing thermodynamic and heat transfer calculations and models of power plants integrated with industrial processes to develop solutions tailored to our client's energy needs
- Contribute to technical papers and present at conferences to demonstrate expertise in the field and share knowledge with a broad audience
- Support business development activities including market analysis, client engagement, and preparing proposals for new work
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment
- Conduct site visits, field assessments, and client-focused engagement meetings
- Must be working towards graduating in 2026, or recently graduated with a Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related degree with interest in Thermal Energy and Power
- Demonstrated academic success while being actively involved in extra-curricular and/or volunteer activities at school or in the community
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous coop or summer work terms within the energy industry is an asset
- Academic or work experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience in Microsoft Project is preferred
- Ability and openness to travel to project sites including remote sites
- Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects
- Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges
- Collaborative and supportive team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
