- Please note this position is not eligible for a relocation subsidy or living out allowance. This will be a camp position on 14 days on 7 days off rotation or 5 days on 2 days off.
- Participate in all training when required.
- Review of Contractors Submittals
- Process Technical Queries
- Perform field Inspections to verify quality and contractor claimed progress.
- Sign applicable check sheets upon completion of field inspection.
- Conduct Contractors Quality Surveillances and record findings.
- Attend weekly Contractor quality meeting.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports
- Prepare Field Sketches for Temporary Facilities when required.
- Perform walkdowns with the Contractors upon completion of specific field activities and initiate a punch list.
- Verify closure of punch items
- Review of Turnover Documentation from the Contractors
- Review and endorse (or reject) installed quantities issued by the Contractors on a weekly basis.
- Review and endorse (or reject) contractor deliverables and reports.
- Familiarize and become proficient with the Integrated Construction Centre (ICC) platforms i.e. Digital Tools
- Attend site safety walkdowns and promote safety through regular interactions in project meetings/interactions within both the office and site environment.
- You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties.
- A recognized University/B.S. degree in Engineering or Construction Management plus 5 years of experience or 12 years of equivalent industry experience in-lieu of a degree.
- Prior experience working with subcontractors.
- High attention to detail, motivation, and commitment to quality outcomes.
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision, effectively and work in a fast-paced environment utilizing agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts and technologies.
- Working knowledge of engineering, contracts & procurement, construction, commissioning, project controls, health & safety, environment & community, and risk multi-discipline workflows and interactions for large capital projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating with various internal and external stakeholders, including functional managers and discipline leads on the project, clients, outside vendors, and contractors.
- Demonstrated strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to foster an inclusive and collaborative environment for their team.
- An ambassador and coach for delivery based on Bantrel and Jansen core values.
- Motivates themselves and peers to promote and engage in team-building and relationship-building activities.
