Ready to lead?We’re looking for a passionate and organized Greenhouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our retail greenhouse. If you thrive in a fast-paced, plant-filled environment and enjoy leading a team while keeping everything growing and glowing—this might be the perfect fit for you.What You’ll Be Doing:Managing and mentoring greenhouse staff and seasonal team membersKnowledgeable and accurate customer serviceMerchandising, displays and signageWorking closely with Production Manager and Greenhouse GrowerSupporting training efforts in plants and related productsKeeping retail spaces clean, shoppable, organized, and safeConducting regular inventory audits and reporting supply needs to the Production ManagerMaintaining greenhouse equipment and ensuring systems are functioning properlyMonitoring and maintaining ideal greenhouse conditions (temperature, humidity, light, air flow)Overseeing the care of indoor plants including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest/disease managementSupporting offsite plant maintenance and in-house greenhouse events and workshopsTracking crop health, performance, and applying corrective actions as neededWhat We’re Looking For:Proven experience in greenhouse or horticulture operations, strong knowledge of plant care, pest/disease management.Excellent organizational and leadership skillsManitoba pesticide license is a plusFamiliarity with greenhouse equipment and climate control systemsGreat communication and problem-solving abilitiesA passion for plants and a proactive, hands-on mindsetProficiency with data tracking tools, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and inventory softwareJob Requirements:Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and peak-season hoursValid driver’s license preferredPhysically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in humid, hot environments. Comfortable on laddersKnowledge of a wide range of plant material and their requirementsWhy Join Us?
