Position Title: General LaborersPosition Type: Temporary - Full-Time Grade: Scale NO GRADERequisition ID: 41664Research Farm, a division of McCain Foods (Canada), is looking for Temporary General Laborers in Florenceville, NB location to assist with planting and harvesting duties.DUTIES:Follow all safety requirementsMaterial handling of 25-50lbs.Work in inclement weatherRemoval of rocks and debris from loads of potatoes.Daily clean upStanding in one place for long periods of timeWalking varying distances dailyTrouble shoot and assist with maintenance of equipment as required.Relay information to other Team membersWorking in a fast-paced team environmentParticipate in Team meetings, as required.All additional duties as they become assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Reliable Transportation to and from worksitesMust possess a good safety record and demonstrate ‘safety first’ on a continual basis.Ability to work well with supervision and other employeesTeam player with excellent attendanceHighly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.Good verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.Willing to work weekends and long hours.Must be self-motivatedAble to complete assignments with minimal supervision.High School students aged 16 and above may be considered for outside school hours.McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
