- Provide HR strategic project support to clients across the province of Saskatchewan by offering grounded, best-practice guidance on HR processes.
- Contribute to impactful HR projects that improve employee experience and align with business priorities, bringing ideas to life through thoughtful planning and collaboration.
- Assist clients will employee relations and coordinate and foster an inclusive work environment.
- Ensure all HR best practices are adhered to, and strong internal controls are applied to preserve confidentiality and discretion as expected.
- Help monitor adherence to employment legislation and industry standards, supporting clients with risk identification and mitigation.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that foster a compliant, inclusive and values-aligned workplace. Take ownership of tracking regulatory changes and embedding them thoughtfully into operations.
- Support clients with training resources, coaching tools and day to day HR guidance, while empowering management and staff.
- Make recommendations for new programs and changes as needed.
- Maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with client on site and virtually and acts as a liaison between management and staff to help build strong relationships and trust.
- Provide continuous improvements and insights in the development of HR metrics and that will enhance workflows and assist with decision making.
- Additional tasks as required.
- Post secondary education in Human Resource Management from an accredited Canadian university.
- HR certification is an asset.
- 5+ years of experience in human resources.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is an asset
- Experience working in both unionized and non-union work environments.
- Ability to work onsite and remote
- Knowledge of HR policies/procedures and applicable labor standards and employment law.
- Proven success in delivering strategic HR solutions.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism.
- Strong computer skills: MS Office applications, ATS and HRIS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly professional and able to represent SIEL Human Solutions internally and externally to the organization.
- Ability to work with private and confidential documents.
- Ability to lead initiatives and projects.
- Ability to raise issues pro-actively and in a timely manner.
- Ability to make decisions, exercise judgment and take initiative in dealing with confidential information and/or in responding to inquiries.
- Superior interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
