Brandt is seeking for an experienced and motivated Head Gardener to oversee daily landscape maintenance and lead a seasonal gardening team. This seasonal full-time role combines hands-on horticultural work with leadership, planning, and quality control to ensure all outdoor spaces are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained. This position is responsible for all aspects of landscape and grounds maintenance of a private residence.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and supervise gardening staff and seasonal workers
  • Plan and execute planting, pruning, fertilizing, and general landscape maintenance
  • Monitor plant health and diagnose pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies
  • Schedule and assign daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow
  • Maintain lawns, garden beds, trees, and shrubs to high aesthetic standards
  • Safely operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment
  • Coordinate irrigation schedules and water management
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and sustainability practices
  • Communicate progress, needs, and issues to management
  • Assist with landscape design improvements and seasonal planning as needed

Required Experience

  • Good communication and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
