If you dream of joining an organization that is small enough for you to be noticed, but big enough to provide you with a meaningful career, then we want to hear from you!Job DescriptionThe House of Commons’ Digital Services and Real Property is currently looking to staff the Senior Product Manager, Security Products and Services (Senior Digital Product Manager) position.As a leader in Digital Services and Real Property, you will be responsible for guiding a multidisciplinary team in the management, enhancement, and delivery of physical security systems and services that support the House of Commons. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to define security strategies, set priorities, and ensure the successful implementation of initiatives that protect people, assets, and infrastructure in alignment with organizational objectives.Your portfolio will focus on physical security technologies and technical support, which may include access control systems, surveillance infrastructure, intrusion detection, and secure facility design. QualificationsEducation :
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Business Administration, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
Experience :
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a technology-driven or comparable environment;
  • Experience defining and implementing strategies, roadmaps, and priorities for products and services;
  • Experience managing external partner relationships;
  • Adept at identifying opportunities for operational enhancements and coordinating efforts among various stakeholders;
  • Experience effectively delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure successful execution of mandates.
Assets :
  • Experience working with security, physical, cyber etc. ;
  • Experience in crafting and articulating strategic visions and actionable plans;
  • Experience managing budgets and resource allocation;
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing staff;
  • Experience working with high-profile stakeholders or clients;
  • Thorough understanding of parliamentary procedures and culture in the House of Commons.
