
Instrumentation Technologist

- Work above and below surface and perform predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and reliable production
- Install and maintain all measurement and control systems including DCS/PLC, flowmeters, pH transmitters, density gauges, pressure transmitters, level transmitters and online analyzers
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and document repairs
- Interprovincial Red seal or Saskatchewan journeyperson industrial instrumentation certificate or an instrumentation engineering technology diploma
- Minimum three to five years of directly related work experience in an industrial or mine environment
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Work a rotation schedule and commute to site by aircraft
- Familiarity with various instrumentation programming and configuration software
- Experience with FOXBORO DCS's and/or PLC systems
- Troubleshooting experience would be an asset
- Experience with SAP
