Mechanical Technician

• Assemble complex components per assembly drawings and bill of material.
• Perform functional testing on assemblies according to customer and/or division criteria.
• Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.
• Set, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools.
• Perform torquing of various components.
• Distribute quality notifications.
• Read and interpret assembly blueprints.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Troubleshoot as necessary.
• Accurately use measuring instruments.
• Provide feedback about ease of assembly, fitment, and ergonomics of new designs.

• Associates degree preferred with 1 year of experience.
• Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting skills.
• Team player and capable of working well with minimal supervision while following safety procedures.
• Must be able to stand during the majority of the shift, occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally push/pull up to 10 pounds of force.
• Must be able to operate crane/hoist and pallet jack.

• Previous experience operating a forklift is an asset.
• Technologist, apprentices, or ticketed tradespeople with solid interpersonal skills are welcome.
