Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join clients our team in Langley, British Columbia. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic office environment while showcasing your expertise in accounts receivable functions. The role involves managing invoicing, reconciliations, and ensuring timely payments, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue invoices for companies on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy.
  • Analyze invoices to verify correct rates and promptly address discrepancies.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up as necessary.
  • Record cash postings and reconcile accounts receivable to the general ledger.
  • Conduct bank deposits and maintain accurate records at your desk.
  • Collaborate with the controller on a weekly basis to review financial data.
  • Provide soft collections support, addressing corrections and managing aging reports when required.
  • Work closely with both internal teams and external clients to resolve account-related issues.
  • Generate and balance customer reports, ensuring billing aligns with volume data.
  • Utilize intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounts receivable role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a detail-oriented and courteous approach to client interactions.
  • Proficiency in account reconciliation and familiarity with general ledger processes.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage high volumes of invoicing and reporting.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
