- Lead the development, establishment, and enforcement of quality management (QM) for Technology services. This includes Quality planning, Quality control, Quality assurance and Quality improvement.
- Develop guidelines/procedures, standard templates, and training materials required for QM implementation, quality data collection and quality analysis within key Technology service areas.
- Identify and enlist Technology quality advocates who will become part of the quality forum, a cross-function working group that oversees and supports the quality management implementation.
- Understand the company strategy, the Technology strategy and guide thinking and decisions around these strategies. Build an understanding of impacts on the business, both of IT and other business areas, as applicable, to guide and direct teams on solutions.
- Direct and assist each service area with the adaptation and implementation of program requirements to ensure each service area’s unique demands are met.
- Develop the network and mature relationships, to focus on broad cross functional quality issues that are high priority and critical in nature to resolve and improve Technology quality and ensure quality issues are resolved.
- Direct and facilitate the Quality Management (QM) forum, a cross-functional team that balances technical expertise, project management skills, and business perspective who will: act as a quality management office for QM initiatives, the escalation point for issues that cannot be resolved at the working level for quality planning, assurance, control, improvement, or communication.
- Monitor key quality metrics (as defined for the service areas and the overall program) to ensure that the program is successfully meeting goals.
- Conduct internal quality reviews and assessments to ensure quality measures comply with regulatory standards, industry standards, and accepted best practices and following these reviews make adjustment to the program and plan to improve as required.
- Direct and support with decisions regarding quality management and communicate quality management changes and/or successes. Work with service area owners (Technology leaders) and influence effectively to achieve quality improvement.

- College diploma or university degree in computer science, or business administration and/or 5+ years equivalent work experience.
- Certification in Quality Management preferred such as Six sigma.
- 10+ years direct experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of quality management, with 3+ years direct experience as a Quality Manager/leader.
- At least 3 years direct experience managing all aspects of a Quality Management team, Planning, Control, Assurance, and Improvement.
- Strong knowledge of Quality management system, assurance metrics, best practices, and methodologies.
- Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
- Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with statistical reporting and analysis.
- Excellent Computer skills and technically fluent in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
