- Must be able to work shifts on a rotating basis
- Responsible for following all safety requirements as discussed during orientation
- Responsible for the accurate completion of all TQC documentation and HACCP system procedures for the Production areas, including any and all established testing or grading requirements
- Ensure that all Lab equipment is in good working condition and report issues to the Quality Supervisor
- Responsible to utilize SAP, including data entry in SAP.
- Ability to work very closely with the Production department to ensure products meet the approved specification
- Maintaining a neat work area, as well as a daily housekeeping report of the area
- Responsible for identification and reporting of product quality issues
- Participate in Team meetings, as required
- Operates all of the equipment associated with testing (Repack, FF, Grading and Check weights)
- Incumbent will be required to cross-train
- Quality checks of finished product must be monitored to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform standard tests to ensure finished quality
- Cleaning / housekeeping of lab area
- Filling out paperwork and entering data on computer accurately and efficiently
- Communicate any changes, issues, etc. to other operators.
- Must maintain all required documentation and check sheets, including entering data on Sanitation Day.
- Ensure SQCDPE targets are met by understanding and goal setting of KPI’s
- Must follow “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMP’s)
- All additional duties as they become assigned.
- Grade 12 or GED
- Basic computer skills are required
- Ability to work well with plant supervision and production employees
- Team player with excellent attendance
- Successful completion of 90-day training period
- Ability to accept and embrace change in day to day operations
