- Post-secondary education in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Considerable experience in Project Management managing consulting and construction assignments in any of the following areas: wastewater treatment, water treatment, water pumping station & reservoir, wastewater pumping station, solid waste management facility, landfills, energy from waste, complex chemical/process or other industrial plants, or other relevant projects for municipal water, wastewater, or solid waste infrastructure.
- Considerable experience in writing and presenting reports, RFPs/proposals and presentations.
- A valid Province of Ontario Class "G" Driver's Licence.
- Knowledge of legislation related to the Construction Act, Ontario Water Resources Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Environmental Assessment Act, Environmental Protection Act, Federal Fisheries Act, Excess Soil Regulation and Conservation Act.
- A Professional Engineering Licence and membership in good standing with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), or licensing as a professional engineer in good standing in another Canadian province or jurisdiction with the ability to obtain P. Eng. license with PEO will be considered an asset.
