The Opportunity
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for schools and districts across the United States primarily, driving outreach to language teachers and education leaders. Your role is to uncover opportunities, spark meaningful conversations, and book qualified meetings for senior sales executives. You will be working clodely with a single fullcycle sales representative based in the United States.The company offers a highly respected language learning platform, trusted in over 90 countries and backed by decades of experience. Their team culture emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and purpose—they're looking for someone curious, coachable, and ready to take ownership.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct targeted research and identify leads within school districts and language programs
- Execute multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) to engage educators and decision-makers
- Run discovery calls, qualify prospects, and set up high-quality demos
- Use tools like HubSpot, Sales Navigator, and Starbridge AI to manage and optimize your funnel
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to refine messaging and outreach strategies
- Consistently hit KPIs tied to qualified meetings booked and conversion rates
- Minimum 1+ year in SDR, BDR, or B2B Inside sales roles—preferably in SaaS, EdTech, or government/education sales but not esential.
- Located in or near Montreal, Quebec - this is a hybrid role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—especially when explaining complex value props to educators
- Resilient and target-driven, with a proactive and positive attitude
- Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, mission-driven team
- Curious, coachable, and motivated to grow within a scaling sales organization
- Comfortable researching and adapting to North American (especially U.S.) educational culture
- Minimum base salary of $50,000 with a range above, also additional performance based bonuses tied to meetings booked
- Potential growth path into Account Executive or other roles as you master the SDR function
