
Security Coordinator

- Leads access control to ensure compliance with PCL and client security policies, managing access across multiple project sites.
- Manages clearances to organize and process personnel and vehicle security clearances, including subcontractors and trades.
- Maintains security records to keep our clearance database accurate and up to date, sharing relevant information with access control points.
- Liaises to serve as the primary contact for external security personnel, guard forces, and agencies.
- Supports Guard Force Operations to contribute to the development of post orders and ensure alignment with project needs.
- Educates and informs to conduct site security briefings and debriefings to keep personnel informed and prepared.
- Handles documentation to administer: Requests for Visits, SRCLs, and oversee subcontractor compliance.
- Conducts site audits to travel to Ottawa-area sites to perform inspections and ensure adherence to corporate and project security programs.
- Develops security plans to collaborate on comprehensive site security strategies covering personnel, physical, and IT security.
- Adapts and supports to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support evolving project needs.
- College diploma or higher-level education is preferred; however, a combination of education and experience with the proven ability to perform the job tasks may be accepted.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Valid Level II clearance with PSPC/CISD.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly MS Word and Excel.
- Demonstrate strong organizational habits and time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards in documentation and reporting.

- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the project.
- Bilingualism in both English and French will be considered an asset.
