Our client is a large, globally recognized organization within the infrastructure and energy sector. They operate across multiple jurisdictions and are known for managing complex, large-scale assets. This role sits within a high-performing financial reporting and consolidations team supporting a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Principal tasks and responsibilities include:
· Support quarterly consolidation and close processes across multiple entities
· Prepare and post journal entries (e.g., depreciation, amortization, fixed assets, debt, financial instruments)
· Assist with general ledger close activities and reconciliations for assigned areas
· Prepare financial reporting schedules, variance analysis, and supporting documentation for audits
· Support conversion and comparison between IFRS and US GAAP reporting
· Assist with internal controls and SOX compliance requirements
· Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements
· Support technical accounting matters, including acquisitions and non-recurring transactions
· Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operational teamsOur client:

· CPA designation (completed or in progress preferred)
· 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience
· Strong understanding of financial reporting and consolidations
· Solid knowledge of IFRS (US GAAP exposure is an asset)
· Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAdditional information or perks:
· Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 + health benefits
