- Lead the strategic efforts identify potential clients, and establish lasting relationships in targeted market areas
- Develop and implement market entry strategies to achieve sales targets
- Utilize your technical knowledge to provide in-depth consultations to clients regarding impacts of water storage on transients and energy consumption. Offer insights into product specifications and functionalities, helping clients make informed decisions
- Collaborate with potential clients, including municipalities, to understand their specific needs and requirements. Tailor product offerings and proposals to address these needs effectively
- Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the technical superiority of our products. Clearly articulate the value proposition and ROI to potential clients
- Oversee the sales process from initiation to closure. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, meeting or exceeding client expectations
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within Western Canada. Use this knowledge to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field experience is preferred.
- Proven experience in technical sales, particularly within the industrial equipment or infrastructure sectors
- Strong ability to produce technical white papers and documentation
- Familiarity with working with municipalities and government entities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively
- Highly motivated and capable of working independently to achieve sales targets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs effectively
- Willingness to adapt to a dynamic market environment and evolve sales strategies accordingly
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Moderate overnight travel (Less than 50%) by land and/or air
- Bachelor's degree in business, construction, or related field of study preferred
