- 10+ years of experience with SQL language
- 8+ years of hands-on experience using Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack: Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS, SQL
- Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI
- reports and SQL queries
- Data Architecture experience
- Knowledge of DAX, M, PowerShell, and T-SQL, Python and or R
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics or a relevant field
- Microsoft Data and/or BI certifications are a strong asset
- Design and develop advanced Power BI reports and dashboards -understanding business requirements, designing the data models and developing visualizations that provide actionable insights
- Strong understanding of the capabilities of Power BI
- Ability to understand data analysis and visualization principles
- Able to quickly provide both MDX and DAX solutions
- Understanding of the ETL process
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis that can help in decision-making.
- Trouble shooting and optimizing Power BI solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external partners to further capitalize on data assets.
- Have a passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest features, updates and practices to leverage Power Bi effectively.
