
Electrical QC Inspector

- Create and maintain QA/QC control documentation
- Document Control – organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos provided by inspectors
- Daily inspection of in process units: ensure sealing is completed, no missing parts, and all other in process inspections are of high quality
- Ensure productions are inspected as determined by company requirements, checking of paperwork
- Daily inspection of paperwork for all in process units and report any deficiencies to Quality Supervisor
- Complete sub assembly inspections such as: motors, coil, evap., furnace, and paint
- Complete unit final inspections
- Review inspection documents and make unit packages
- Report any observed safety issues to the Safety Coach or Safety Coordinator
- Assist with education of other inspectors and production team members
- Inspect drawings and marking/breaking work and ensure it is correct
- Assist marking with Engineering changes where drawings are not correct and submit to Quality Supervisor
- Inspect all aspect of units with the appropriate forms from the beginning to the end and record all discrepancies
- Organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos
- Performs all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code
- Other duties as required
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

- Critical eye for identifying defects.
- Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and the tools required in various assembly processes.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 40 pounds.
- Must be able to read a tape measure and perform simple mathematical fractional equations.
- Ability to read blueprints is considered an asset.
- Commercial/Industrial environment
- Exercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards
- Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment)
- Long periods of standing
- Overtime as required
- Communication is primarily internal to the assigned work team and Team Lead/Supervisor/Senior Production Manager.
