No matter the canvas - be it film, lighting, multimedia architecture, sound design, special effects, or interactive projects - the thirst for experimentation and innovation is at the core of our DNA.YOUR TEAMAs a Multimedia Director, you will embark on your journey within the large team of the Center of Expertise, and more closely, with the team consisting of assistant directors, multimedia directors, art directors, and concept writer-designers. This team is rich in ideation, engaged, and well-supported by all related expertises. For this position, you will also be associated with the Music team, with whom you will work closely. Collaborating with the Music team involves reimagining the experience of a concert or artist through multimedia and working with globally renowned artists.YOUR MISSIONYou share the creative leadership of projects with the Creative Director. You are the bearer of the creative vision and user experience, guiding and uplifting your project team to achieve the desired artistic vision. You create a clear overall vision through which a project is eventually realized. You act as the creative bridge with the client, ensuring the quality of project deliverables. You possess an understanding of creative tools, workflows, production pipelines, and align creativity with the project budget.FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create and develop concepts for pitches and client projects;
  • Have the vision, passion, leadership, and motivation to see a project through from conception to integration;
  • Supervise and lead a multidisciplinary creative team: graphic design, 2D & 3D animation, editing, scripting, design, scenography, lighting, sound composition, programming, technical direction - from conception to integration;
  • Work closely with the creative direction and production at a strategic level, deliverables, development of production processes, resource assignment, and timelines;
  • Possess strong knowledge of technology and visual content production processes used in multimedia environments, demonstrating this knowledge in creative decisions and communication with the team;
  • Effectively communicate creative ideas through presentations and continuous creative development, both internally to project teams and externally to clients and stakeholders.
YOUR BACKGROUND INCLUDES
  • Post-secondary education in design, multimedia, performing arts, or any other relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience;
  • You have an ease for communication with international clients (companies and institutions);
  • 5 + years of experience in team management, art direction, visual content creation, integrated multidisciplinary projects in multimedia environments;
  • Experience in creating decks, drawings, and contextualizing projects related to shows;
  • Experience in the music and touring industry;
  • Knowledge of the operational and technical complexity of multimedia playback systems;
  • Passion for music shows, touring, and visual content;
  • Proven mastery of digital tools such as those in the Adobe suite.
