- Providing customer services excellence answering incoming calls and providing clients, staff and patients with
- Handle incoming and outbound fax communications to physicians and providers
- Manage LIS Fax console
- Report distribution
- Prepare recollection requisitions and maintain logs
- Check and respond to emails arriving in the general info@ email box
- Maintain physician register in LIS
- Run outstanding reports to ensure result transmission to providers
- Responsible to observe and comply with the policies of the company and applicable legal requirements with respect to confidential information and the protection of privacy
- Contribute towards Dynacare's learning and knowledge-based culture by sharing in the responsibility of training and skill development of new team members as requested.
- Liaison with courier team regarding daily Provider office pick ups
- High School Diploma required
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience in customer service required (minimum 3 years)
- MOA certification an asset
- Prioritize and self-manage within a deadline-oriented environment
- Strong problem solving and issues resolution abilities
- Ability to perform under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- Capability to apply interpersonal and communication skills and techniques to interact effectively with others at all levels within Dynacare
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of LIS systems is an asset
- Ability to type 40 wpm
- Normal office environment
- Medical laboratory environment
- May sit or stand for prolonged period of time with extensive computer use
