Description :Reporting to the Director, Project Delivery, IT the Project Business Analyst, IT will work alongside Project Managers within the PMO and with the business owners to implement required business requirements and processes that can be supported by a range of systems and technologies, with the objective to optimize the end-to-end process. Project Business Analyst will collaborate closely with Project Managers within the PMO and business owners to turn requirements into streamlined, technology-enabled processes with the objective of optimizing end-to-end processes.This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based out of our Corporate Office in Acheson with the opportunity to work remotely up to 2 days per week.The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $108,000 per year.What you’ll do:
  • Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders
  • Map and document business processes
  • Develop and execute test scripts, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Prepare and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs)
  • Conduct current state assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with various business units to develop comprehensive business cases and facilitate the transition of projects from the discovery phase to the planning stage
What you bring:This position requires a minimum of 7 years’ related experience and a diploma, certificate or other post-secondary education in a related field.Additional qualifications include:
  • Strong discipline, time management, and collaboration skills to plan, manage, and deliver results within projects and teams
  • In-depth understanding of business processes, data structures, reporting, and internal controls, with the ability to analyze complex processes and assess change impacts
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, translating technical specifications into clear, non-technical requirements for stakeholders and developers
  • Customer-focused approach to resolving business process–related system issues
  • Ability to develop, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mappings, diagrams, flowcharts, and test cases to support QA and project delivery
  • Proactive in identifying and managing risks
  • Experience in Parts, Equipment Sales, Service, Manufacturing, Remanufacturing, or Warranty businesses, ERP systems, and technology domains such as network, security, mobility, or infrastructure is an asset
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Microsoft Azure, Miro, or Mural is a plus
