About the Opportunity
  • Lead and complete audit, review, and compilation engagements, including associated tax work
  • Handle complex engagement areas and prepare both personal and corporate income tax returns
  • Ensure appropriate completion of tax checklists and supporting documentation
  • Oversee file completion and review work prepared by junior and intermediate team members
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical support to developing staff
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with client contacts
  • Address inquiries and requests from clients and leadership in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage engagements from planning through finalization, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Apply relevant accounting and assurance standards with appropriate judgment
  • Supervise and support team members while contributing to overall engagement success
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of IFRS, ASPE, and CAS through ongoing professional development
About You:
  • CPA designation completed or nearing completion
  • Post-secondary degree in accounting or related field
  • Minimum four years of public accounting experience with exposure to audit and tax
  • Strong working knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, and CAS, including complex engagement areas
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and commitment to supporting team objectives
  • High attention to detail and dedication to quality work
  • Client-focused approach with developing advisory capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational and project management abilities, including managing multiple concurrent engagements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common accounting/tax software platforms
Pay Range:
